Hackney to Walthamstow Cycle Route

Cycle Route

Hello,

Hackney and Waltham Forest Councils, along with the London Wildlife Trust, would like to create a new quiet walk and cycle route linking soon-to-be-open nature reserves, Woodberry Wetlands, near Manor House, and Walthamstow Wetlands.

The idea, called the Wetlands to Wetlands Greenway, has been shortlisted by the London Mayor for funding, and we're asking you and your community to vote for it.

If we get enough votes to make the scheme a reality, it will allow cyclists and walkers to avoid the heavy traffic of Seven Sisters Road, connect with parks and several other quiet routes, including links into central London and the Olympic Park.

Attached is an e-poster with more info on the project as well as details on how to vote.

I would be extremely grateful if you could pass this on to your community/include it in your newsletter so we can make this exciting and worthwhile project a reality.
Voting closes on Monday, 2 March<http://www.london.gov.uk/priorities/environment/big-green-poll/wetland-to-wetland-london-borough-of-hackney>.
