Dear local walker

Our next walk is this Tuesday 10th February, starting at 11 am from outside Costa coffee facing Asda at ‘Leyton Mills’ retail park (3 hours car parking), and 5 or 10 minutes later passing Leyton Central Line Station (buses 58, 69, 97, 158).  The route passes pubs and the sites of cinemas, recalling the time when entertainment was more outside the home than inside.  It will be a good way of showing you, or reminding you of, the area.  Firm level surfaces with only kerbs for baby buggies and wheelchairs to negotiate.  We will reach Leytonstone Central Line Station before 1pm, for lunch or one train stop back to the start.

The walk will be repeated on Sunday 22nd February at 2.30 pm, and as a shorter, circular route from LeytonSTONE Central Line Station on Thursday 26 February at 6.30 pm.  On 9th April there will be an evening walk around the pubs and cinema sites of the northern end of Leytonstone High Road.

Everyone welcome, no charge, no booking
