Mini Holland Update 27-2-16

Mini Holland

Latest on Whipps Cross Roundabout

Shernhall Street and surroundings

At the recent Wood Street Ward Forum it was announced more work is to be carried out on Shernhall Street.

Whipps Cross

At the Ward Forum it was announced there may be a permitted right turn from Woodford New Road into Forresters Drive - those present were surprised as there is no demand and it could become a rat run!

Markhouse Road
The consultation for Markhouse Road will take place between Monday 29 February and 21 March 2016. The link to the online survey will be live on Monday 29 February.

Walthamstow Leisure Centre Car Park - suddenly, with no consultation, the car park shared by Walthamstow Leisure centre and Kelmscott School is going to be a pay and display car park. As the signs only permit a 3 hour stay and the web site only sells a 2 hour permit none of the teaching staff at Kelmscott, the majority arrive by car, will be able to stay longer than 3 hours! It will be even more interesting when Ofsted turn up and are told they have to pay to park and can only stay for 3 hours! Is this another devious bit of the Mini Holland virus spreading across the Borough?
