New Theatres at Whipps

For as long as I can remember there have been plans to rebuild Whipps Cross Hospital. Each time a plan goes public it withers and fades away. In the last 30 years we have gone from a complete rebuild to total closure and still no long term decision is made! I must say I admire the building services team who have to keep the old victorian buildings running. Recently a new power plant was constructed but never made operational. A new A&E fared better and is very efficient (in my experience!). Now some new operating theatres. Oh well in time it will all have been rebuilt!!
