Redevelopment of Ross Wyld Care Home (opposite Lloyd Park)

Dear Sir / Madam
I am writing to inform you of Pocket Living’s proposals for 90 new, affordable one-bedroom homes at 458 Forest Road, E17 and to invite you to the public consultation, which takes place from 16.00 to 19.50 on  Monday 24th June 2019.
Pocket’s proposals are for 90 new homes, all of which will be sold at a 20% discount to the open market exclusively to first-time buyers who live or work in London Borough of Waltham Forest. This is Pocket’s 3rd site in Waltham Forest, we have recently submitted a planning application for our site in Osiers Way, Leyton and in 2018 completed our award-winning development at Gainsford Road also within the William Morris Ward and a short walk away from the proposed development. These new homes will allow local people a chance to get on the housing ladder who would not otherwise be able to do so.
Pocket homes are owned 100% outright by buyers and there are no ‘buy to let’ investors. Our homes are affordable in perpetuity and have restrictive covenants which control their affordability. In 2017 Sadiq Khan invested £25m in Pocket Living to deliver over a 1000 home starts by March 2021.
The public consultation will take place at One Hoe Street, E17 4SD. The consultation runs from 16.00 until 19.50.   If you are unable to attend and would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards,
Paul Jess
