Work is progressing with building the 2 tower blocks 34 and 27 storeys. The core for the taller block is already at 6 storeys. Completion expected in 2025 - that's likely to be optimistic!
Despite 72 people being killed in the Grenfell fire, Long Harbour has not seen fit to stop construction and redesign the tower blocks with 2 staircases as new legislation demands.
Work to start soon on digging a big hole down to the Victoria Line so the new station entrance can be created. The hole has to be completed by 2025.
Meanwhile let's see if we can get a bigger playground built now
rather than wait years for the whole site to be completed.
