EMD Public Inquiry

Many thanks to everyone who sent objections to the national planning inspectorate in advance of the
appeals by UCKG which will be decided at the forthcoming inquiry. It was great to read some of the
letters and receive help from volunteers and residents groups.

We've put together some questions & answers on what happens at the public inquiry, who attends
and when it runs here
We don't expect people to take weeks off to be there, but if you can attend on the first 2 days
from Thursday 29 November at Walthamstow Assembly Hall, it will show the
decision makers the strength of support for the cinema and Trust.

You may have read this article about the possibility of the council forcing the UCKG to sell the cinema to them. 

This will be debated by councillors at Waltham Forest Town Hall from 7pm on Tuesday 4th December
and supporters are encouraged to attend and hear the discussion.
