Mini-Holland Update - 5-12-14

#Mini-Holland: The Next Set of Public Meetings  
I have now received further details regarding the #miniholland project and will shortly be sending out an update to all those residents who have signed up for my updates on this scheme. I also wanted to make sure residents were aware of the next stage of consultation on this project. 
 
Following the Mini-Holland trial the Waltham Forest council have now provided a consultation document which is available here.  This consultation will be shared with all those in the original trial area, plus those outside the trial are but are enclosed by Church Hill, Shernhall St, Hoe St and Lea Bridge Rd such as Folkestone Rd andSt Mary's Rd. There will also be drop in sessions will be held during the public consultation for residents and businesses to discuss the proposals with council staff.
 
These consultations will be held on:
  • Tuesday 9 December 2-8pm - Shern Hall Methodist Church Hall
  • Wednesday 10 December 2-8pm - St.Stephens Church of England Church Hall
  • Thursday 11 December 2-8pm - Vestry House Museum, 11 Vestry Road.
If you live outside of the area where the closures are proposed you can provide feedback byemail by Friday 19th December.
The deadline for feedback is Friday 19 December 2014. 
 
In addition, as part of this project Falco are bidding to design and build 8 cycle parking facilities or ‘bike sheds’ in the following locations:
  • Leyton Station (larger super shed facility)
  • Walthamstow Station - Town Square Gardens (larger super shed facility)
  • Blackhorse Road Station
  • Chingford Station
  • Highams Park Station
  • Leytonstone Station
  • St James Street Station
  • Wood Street Station
They are looking to get feedback from as many people (and groups of people) as possible on these plans. Please fill in the online questionnaire by Wednesday 17th December.
