View from Singapore

Over the next 3 weeks we are staying with our pregnant daughter and son in law in Singapore, one of the best run cities in the world. We have just come back from the National University City hospital where Caroline had a blood test ready for her regular check up tomorrow. The hospital makes UCH look like a small cottage hospital!!

Mind you most of Singapore makes London seem like a third world city!!

The real advantage Singapore has is its rain. A tropical downpour occurs on a daily basis for about an hour and washes the city clean. The water is routed via large drainage canals straight to the sea and within a few minutes of the sun coming out all is clean and dry.
