Gardening Day - Saturday 6 September 

This Saturday is the first of the month so it's GARDENING DAY! Please meet by the Ancient House at 10.30 am with shears and rakes etc. to cut the Community Meadow. Do wear long sleeves and trousers and sturdy shoes. 
 

The Great Village Produce, Plant & Seed Swap - Saturday 6 September

This Saturday 6 September from 11am - 2 pm; bring your surplus seeds, produce, plants and terracotta pots and swap them for something different! All produce not swapped will be sent to the Eat or Heat Project.
Horticultural expert Graham Sherman will be on hand to answer your gardening questions and to identify plants.
For the children, there'll be a planting workshop sowing hollyhock seeds for the Village flowerbeds.
Community bee-keeping project BEE17 will be selling Village honey at £5 a jar - all profits go to WVRA gardening projects to provide plants and flowers in the Village.
