We've put together some questions & answers on what happens at the public inquiry, who attends
and when it runs here
We don't expect people to take weeks off to be there, but if you can attend on the first 2 days
from Thursday 29 November at Walthamstow Assembly Hall, it will show the
decision makers the strength of support for the cinema and Trust.
If you would like to speak at the inquiry and want advice or guidance, please
email hello@savewalthamstowcinema.
Please check our website for updates on the inquiry and campaign over the next few weeks.
CPO update
This article suggests that the possibility of the council forcing the UCKG
to sell the cinema to them is growing. It will however be subject to the Appeals being
rejected by the government.
A CPO will be debated by councillors at Waltham Forest Town Hall from 7pm on Tuesday 4th December
and supporters are encouraged to attend and hear the discussion.
Thank you for your support
