Arcade Site

The Arcade site was granted planning permission for flats, shops and a 9 screen cinema. There were no objections and when the Chair announced the unanimous decision to approve the plans there was no reaction at all from the few members of the public in the Public Gallery - apathy is alive and well in Walthamstow! After over 20 years of struggling to get this site developed no one now seems to care! Even the public address loudspeaker was not working again due to the apathy of the officer who should be maintaining it!
