27,000 new homes would mean a population increase in Waltham Forest of at least 25%. This could really be our last chance if we don't want our children to live in a vertical concrete slum without any infrastructure for its residents or green spaces for kids to get out of their rabbit hutches in the sky. Compared to this battery hens have spacious accommodation. What exactly is the point of it all? Aren't there any other cities in Britain for people to live in except London?
