Dear Friends
I'm really excited to be involved in Waltham Forest's first Green Open Homes Weekend on 17/18 May. Our house at 19 Avon Road E17 3RB is involved because we have Solar Panels and external wall insulation fitted.
Over 14 homes and venues are opening their doors to the public to show how they've been made greener, warmer and more energy efficient or used reclaimed materials. Houses range from the traditional to the funky, large and small, budget to more extravagant.
Visiting the homes is free, but booking is needed for most venues to avoid overcrowding people's homes. So book your visit now to avoid disappointment! Go to http://walthamforest. greenopenhomes.net - it's a very easy booking process.
