Local Job Ops: Forest Recycling Project & Walthamstow Toy Library
This week I have been sent details of two local jobs. Firstly an opportunity has arisen within Forest Recycling Project (FRP) in Walthamstow. They are looking for a Business Development Manager, 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week); £24,943 pro rata; 1-year contract. Forest Recycling Project (FRP) is a social enterprise and charity with environmental and social aims, based in Walthamstow in East London. All work and activities are supported by volunteers. The Paint Place is FRP’s flagship re-use initiative. Unwanted leftover paint which would otherwise go to waste, is collected and (following a sorting process) made available to individuals, charities, not-for-profits and community groups, at low cost. .Applications must be received no later than Monday 26 May 2014, 5pm. Secondly, a new vacancy for a Play Worker/ Toy Librarian has arisen at the Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre for 11.5 hrs/wk (Monday, Tuesday and Saturday mornings). .All the information and application pack are on the website under vacancies. The closing date for applications is Thursday 29th May at 3pm with interviews taking place on Wednesday 4th June.
