BGORUG Update

BGORUG

1 comment:

  1. Following a meeting with Transport for London (TfL), BGORUG has submitted our proposals ( http://tinyurl.com/jhxnc5y ) for alternative arrangements for passengers during the part and full closures of the Barking - Gospel Oak line during electrification works later this year and continuing into 2017. The main features we are seeking are:

    - Rail replacement buses covering the entire length of the closures
    - All tickets, including Pay-as-YouGo and contactless, to be valid on all rail and Underground routes and all normal bus services wthin a wide area along the line
    - Existing users to have their fares capped at the price of their normal journey on the line, regardless of both the alternative routes they use and the number of times they change buses or trains. To this end we are pleased that TfL has already stated that passengers will be able to travel via Zone 1 at no extra charge.
