New Cycle Sheds

Here is evidence of the dangers of encouraging cycling on pavements - this highly dangerous practice is illegal and must be stopped before a pedestrian is killed - cycles and all other forms of transport should be on the roads and and pavements left to pedestrians and pushed wheel chairs.

Dear residents,

On behalf of all three ward councillors, we are pleased to invite you to the ward forum on 12th September at the Aveling Park Centre from 10 am – 11.30 am.

The main aim of the meeting is to have a discussion about ward priorities and give people an opportunity to put forward ideas for ward funding over the coming year. Any resident of the ward can put forward an idea – they don’t have to deliver it themselves (unless it is small-scale and they want to). For larger projects the Council are often able to deliver projects or we can invite local voluntary and community orgs to do so.

There will also be an opportunity to hear about the projects that were funded last year.

I am attaching some more info about ward forum funding as a link and also a form as a ward document if you would like to put forward an idea. We really welcome any ideas residents have to improve the ward, that need some funding – from a piece of play equipment, to an event in the park to a community garden. Please get in touch.

Please also forward this email to any other people who live in the ward who you think might be interested in coming along – it’s vital that we continue to grow our ward forum. As always we can promise free tea or coffee and homemade cake.
