Dear Members of Friends Groups

Below is a link to information about this years London Tree Week starting 28th May to 5th June.  London Tree Week is part of the RE:LEAF partnership’s work to protect and increase the number of trees in London. It is co-ordinated by the environment team at the Greater London Authority.  During the week there will be a series of special events: tree walks and talks, exhibitions, and family activities, the full events calendar will be added to the GLA website in April (so please check this page nearer the time for more details about the week).
In the meantime you may have an upcoming event during the week which you would like listed on the calendar or a project or person you would like to nominate for one of the 2016 Tree Awards, all the information can be found using the link below.  Any further queries regarding London Tree Week can made sent to:environment@london.gov.uk

With kind regards

Nina
