Lea Bridge Station A Step Closer to Re-opening
The Transport Secretary announced this week that Lea Bridge station was one of three stations in the UK ‘most likely’ to get funding to be opened by the Government’s New Station Fund. This means they would provide 75% of the cost of reopening this station to the train operating companies who would run it- a final decision on this will be made in May 2013.
