We are committed to giving you and your family access to better leisure facilities and making the borough an even better place to live. As part of these plans we’ve brought the improvements to Ive Farm and Marsh Lane Playing Fields together to create Leyton Jubilee Park, named to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Keep an eye on the website for a full listing of what’s on at Leyton Jubilee Park.

In the meantime, if you have any questions about the park or activities held there, please contact Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000.

How to get there

You can access the park via several entrances around the site:
  • Seymour Road
  • Marsh Lane (new bridge over Dagenham Brook under construction)
  • Orient Way
  • Ive Farm Lane
Vehicle access to the park is currently restricted, so the easiest and greenest way to get to the park is by public transport.
By tube: Nearest tube station is Leyton (Central line). This is a 15 minute walk away.
By train: Nearest Overground station is Leyton Midland Road. This is a 15 minute walk away.
By bus: Many regular buses stop nearby, including the 48, 55, 56 58, 158 and N158.
By car: If you do want to drive to the park, please note that there is currently no parking available on-site. The car park at the Marsh Lane entrance is expected to reopen in October. A small amount of local parking is available.

Current and future work in the park

We are committed to providing high quality open parks and spaces in the borough. Work to the park is on-going, and so far we have invested over £2million in making this site a better place for you and your family to enjoy.
  • A new bridge is being constructed at the Marsh Lane entrance to improve access to the park. This is expected to re-open in September.
  • Additional play equipment is being installed to provide even more areas for children to have fun and stay active, including a pirate ship and slides. This is expected to open in stages over the next few months.
  • A fence will be installed around the under 7 play area to ensure children cannot wander out of the play area.
  • Ive Farm Park area is also due for further development.

Completed work

As part of our Olympic legacy and pledge to continue to improve our leisure facilities, we have created high quality sports facilities across the borough for all the family to enjoy – and Leyton Jubilee Park is certainly no exception. Improvements include:
  • Mini and junior football pitches
  • A basketball court
  • Brand new changing pavilion
  • An under 7 adventure play area
  • An 8+ adventure play area
We have worked hard to ensure the park still serves as a thriving habitat for wildlife. Wildflower has been planted along The Avenue and we have our very own mini nature reserve in the form of The Plateau. Teaming with birds, insects and animals, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing stroll.
