Now the Mall wants to develop their shopping centre. If the rumour of a 27 storey block is correct this will have to be chased away as we did with the 20 storey block for the Arcade site. For more information see the plans on display in the Mall.
Ilford has a very high tower block and Ilford is now a very grim place to visit, probably more to do with the developments at Stratford but the ugly dominating tower does not help. The old Harrison and Gibson store which was a must visit place is a real dump.
I will be attending a Residents Panel meeting on Saturday so will report more after that.
