To: oliver Benjamin <Oliver.Benjamin@anewdirection.org.uk>

Dear colleagues
I am writing to introduce you to the new ELMO project which has been designed to support young people 16-25 who are living or studying in Waltham Forest; and who are considering a job or career in the creative or cultural sector.
The project is supported by Arts Council England, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, A New Direction and a team of local artists. It will create work experiences, offer master classes and mentoring sessions with some of London’s leading professionals, plus a range of practical workshops where young people can learn together by making arts and crafts products.
The project’s first event is a festival that is taking place in Waltham Forest at William Morris Gallery and Lloyd Park, Forest Road, London E17 4PP on Saturday 3rd August between 11am and 4pm.
The festival will offer a range of activities, including:
·     Sign painting
·     Murals
·         Illustration
·         Screen Printing
·         Cake making and decorations
·         Acting
Following the festival if young people are interested they can then join the mentoring sessions, master classes or work experiences.
We would be extremely grateful if you could help to publicise the event by distributing the flyer to any young people or organisations working with young people who you think might be interested.
If you require any further information then please feel free to contact Sarah Lee onsarahlee@capacityunlimited.com  or creatjobs@anewdirection.org.uk
Warm regards
Sarah Lee
